bio -
of trivialities

I've edited books and established a successful online business selling my art glass beads and jewellery. I am also trained in a bodywork technique called Holistic Pulsing and am familiar with many alternative therapies. I have some awesome kids and some pretty cool pets. Having lived a varied life (though largely vegetarian ) I have experienced some adventure.

I describe myself as a metaphysician, which naturally overlaps my bodywork training, as my explorations include astral travel, meditation, dream states, levels of consciousness, archetypes. My journeys here have taken me to some amazing places. The surprising twists of synchronicity have dogged my steps and propelled me into my very own life quest that is global in its reach. I am familiar with the world of visions and voices (without a legitimate mental diagnosis, that is !) and it shapes a destiny that affects us earth-wide, one that will stun you with its implications. This is definitely not mainstream stuff.

Life quests can only take up so much time, I also immerse myself in a few things, one of them them writing, another melting glass in an open flame.

I love creating very three dimensional beads, particularly surreal, fantasy themes as well as flowers. I definitely go through phases with what obsesses me at the time, right now it is miniature paperweights of a contemporary nature. I like pushing the convention of what is traditional. Does shape define a paperweight?

I like to think my life somehow translates into my glass art in creating a new perspective into another world... the one of fantasy and imagination thru a sense of super or hyper-realism, which is achieved through an almost specimen like approach with many layers of crystal clear encasing.

My jewelry making can have a basis in a talisman or amulet-approach, combining my art glass beads with semi-precious gems, vintage medallions, findings, etc. Totemism is a recurring, eclectic theme.
